Join the MG Car Club of Toronto for our annual BRASS MONKEY RUN, supporting the Salvation Army's TOYS FOR TOTS program.
The path begins with a country-in-the-city feel, which has corn fields mixing with warehousing. As we conitnue on, we'll see plenty more tree lined streets, both straight and twisty, taking us through mostly country side as well as parts of Oakville, Milton, Waterdown, Dundas, and places further west. Our eventual stop for lunch will have us approaching Brantord.
There are two starting locations to make it easier to join the run:
- Oakville: Tim Horton's, 2525 Hyde Park Gate Blvd. Arrive by 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. departure.
- Milton: Tim Horton's/Wendy's, 80 Market Dr. Arrive by 10:15 a.m. for a 10:45 a.m. departure.
We're still finalizing the exact mileage, but one thing is certain—we won't be taking the shortest route between two points! Expect a scenic drive, interesting roads and plenty of fall countryside.
Following lunch, everyone is free to make their own way home. Depending on your destination and route, the drive home will generally be in the range of 1 to 1½ hours.
